The movie is bland hackwork; its crime isn’t incompetence, but indifference. Diane Keaton and Robert De Niro star as divorced parents with three grown-up children. De Niro, a sculptor and recovering alcoholic, now lives with his girlfriend (Susan Sarandon). She used to be Keaton’s best friend. The youngest of Keaton and De Niro’s three children is a Colombian adoptee named Alejandro (Ben Barnes, an Englishman in heavy make-up). He’s getting married to a nice Irish Catholic girl (Amanda Seyfried) with cartoonishly disgusting parents; her father is a smarmy embezzler, and her mother is a plastic-surgery-addicted bigot. Alejandro has remained in contact with his biological family, and invites them to come to the titular wedding — which, truth be told, isn’t really all that big. Contrived hijinks ensue.
Download The Big Wedding Movie Free (2013) Or You can Watch The Big Wedding Online : There are lame culture-clash jokes. There is projectile vomiting. There are two different erection gags. There are yawn-inducing plot twists and revelations. There is a pseudo-incestuous subplot that involves Keaton and De Niro’s oldest son (Topher Grace) trying to lose his virginity to Alejandro’s biological sister (Ana Ayora). There’s a priest (Robin Williams) saying all kinds of un-priestly things. There is, in other words, a lot of “humor,” very little of which is funny. “The Big Wedding” is a 90-minute comedy with a lot of plot and many major characters that still manages to be a slog. Why? It’s not the over-familiar material — a talented cast (and “The Big Wedding” certainly has one) can make tired jokes seem zippy. The problem is a lack of effort. No one involved in making “The Big Wedding” seems to have tried very hard. Take, for example, the opening, where Keaton accidentally catches De Niro and Sarandon going at it. The scene is overlong. Its raunchy humor falls flat, in part because almost all of De Niro’s dialogue has been dubbed in — much of it very poorly.
Watch The Big Wedding Online Free (2013) or You Can Download The Big Wedding Movie : Watching the scene, I couldn’t help but imagine what the dubbing studio must have been like. I imagined De Niro standing in front of a microphone. He is wearing headphones. “Cunnilingus,” he says. No, it doesn’t sync up. “Cunnilingus.” Still not quite right. “Not worth it,” De Niro mutters to himself. He takes the headphones off and walks away. The sound engineer shrugs. “Good enough,” he says. Then he goes on his lunch break. Much about “The Big Wedding” suggests laziness and indifference. The sound is routinely awful — bad dubbing, mismatched room tones. There is bad green screen work — which is a sort of perverse achievement, considering that this isn’t a movie that calls for any kind of special effects. The scene that introduces Robin William’s character begins with an establishing shot of a church — clearly stock footage, shot on consumer-grade video. That’s right: “The Big Wedding” is a movie about a Catholic wedding with several scenes set inside of a church where no one thought that it was worth the effort to photograph the exterior of the church. Not only that, but no one thought that it was worth it to buy stock footage that would blend in visually with the rest of the movie, or would at least look decent on a big screen.

It’s because of the cast. No one in the film delivers what you’d call a committed performance, but they don’t completely embarrass themselves either. Even at his laziest, De Niro still has a credible charisma, and he and Keaton make a convincing ex-couple. Topher Grace — always better as a character actor than as a leading man — has good comic timing and a natural rapport with Katherine Heigl, who has the thankless task of playing the movie’s most boring character. Robin Williams is surprisingly tolerable. Ben Barnes is fine if you imagine that his character is addicted to spray tanning (“The Big Wedding” is a remake of a Franco-Swiss film called “My Brother is Getting Married,” in which the adopted son character was Vietnamese; I’d hate to find out how this production would’ve handled that). Amanda Seyfried and Susan Sarandon are both decent, albeit underused. When it all comes down to it, however, “The Big Wedding” is a movie in which no one felt compelled to do a good job — which is exactly why no one should feel compelled to see it.
Watch The Big Wedding Online Free (2013) or You can Download The Big Wedding Movie : With an all-star cast led by Robert DeNiro, Katherine Heigl, Diane Keaton, Amanda Seyfried, Topher Grace, with Susan Sarandon and Robin Williams, The Big Wedding is an uproarious romantic comedy about a charmingly modern family trying to survive a weekend wedding celebration that has the potential to become a full blown family fiasco. To the amusement of their adult children and friends, long divorced couple Don and Ellie Griffin (De Niro and Keaton) are once again forced to play the happy couple for the sake of their adopted son’s wedding after his ultra conservative biological mother unexpectedly decides to fly halfway across the world to attend. With all of the wedding guests looking on, the Griffins are hilariously forced to confront their past, present and future - and hopefully avoid killing each other in the process. Screenplay by Justin Zackham. Directed by Justin Zackham. Let me just start by saying that I only made it to the 1:52 mark in this trailer before hitting the Eject button and bailing out. So if, for some reason, the last thirty-or-so seconds take a turn for the creative, humorous and intelligent then forgive me. Otherwise, I think we can all agree this movie represents the movie industry’s attempt to present completely implausible scenarios with a completely unbelievable cast of characters in completely ridiculous settings, all in the name of appealing to the Baby-Booming (upper) middle class who go out and buy movie tickets.

Today the joint studios announced when we will see Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone team up again and that it will be a little while longer until we see both The Big Wedding and Now You See Me. As for The Big Wedding, those of you who were looking forward to seeing the romantic comedy next month, I have some bad news: it’s been pushed all the way to April 26th of next year. The star-studded Justin Zackham movie is about a long-divorced couple (Robert De Niro, Dianne Keaton) who pretend to still be married while attending their adopted son’s wedding. The cast also includes Amanda Seyfried, Robin Williams, Katherine Heigl, Topher Grace, Susan Sarandon, Ben Barnes and Marc Blucas. Lastly there’s Now You See Me, the new Louis Leterrier movie about an FBI team on the hunt for a team of magicians that rob banks. While the film was originally going to be released on March 15, 2013, Summit has decided that it fits better as a June release and will now be going up against the M. Night Shyamalan sci-fi film After Earth on June 7, 2013. Now You See Me stars Mark Ruffalo, Isla Fisher, Morgan Freeman, Woody Harrelson, Michael Caine, Dave Franco, Jesse Eisenberg, Elias Koteas and many more.
Watch The Big Wedding Online Free (2013) or You can Download The Big Wedding Movie : First of all, the premise is moderately confusing, and not in the cerebral, thought-provoking kind of way. It’s more in the the contrived and stupid vein. Guy’s getting married. Guy is adopted. Guy’s adopted parents are divorced. Guy’s birth mother is religious and doesn’t believe in divorce. Entire family puts on an elaborate ruse to convince birth mom that foster parents are still together. Robin Williams is a priest. Hilarity ensues. The rest of the movie appears written from the leftovers of failed family comedies. Foster mom doesn’t understand English making for the contrived “lost in translation” angle. Everyone involved is, at least on the surface, super rich so they’re not at all relatable. I paused right at the point the entire wedding party accidentally fell in a body of water, giving us a hearty, “Hahahaha, they got wet!” laugh. “Tension” stems from, well I don’t really know where because this flick looks awful. Director Justin Zackham takes another turn behind the lens after writing and helming Going Greek (no reviews, so that’s cool). He wrote also wrote The Bucket List (40%). If his latest finished above the forty percent mark (marking a career best for the guy) I’d be shocked. It’s a veiled attempt to throw a bunch of big names on the screen and hope for the best.
